About us

Meadowlark Montessori is a one-room micro school for 1st-8th grades. We seek to keep our classroom at about 15 students in order to allow for plenty of one on one learning. Our classroom also has both a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher.

Our school occupies the lower level of Louisville Dance Alliance, located in the Original Highlands neighborhood of Louisville. Our urban location makes it easy for our students to volunteer and serve the community at local organizations and businesses. But we also spend plenty of time in nature daily! We are a short drive to many local parks, and children enjoy weekly Forest School on Thursdays with The Outdoor Collaborative.
